Fly control: stop the buzz, stop the breeding.

Swatting is a full-time job. We target the source - their breeding grounds, to reduce populations and the health risks they bring, creating a more comfortable space.

Fly control: stop the buzz, stop the breeding.
Flies

What you're dealing with.

The problem.
The problem.

Flies aren't just annoying; they’re vectors. They breed in decaying organic matter (like bins, compost, or even a blocked drain) at an alarming rate, then spread bacteria wherever they land - on your food, surfaces, and skin.

The Bittn solution.
The Bittn solution.

We move beyond reactive killing. Our strategy focuses on identification, breeding site elimination, and targeted population control using advanced traps and treatments. We don't just clear the air today; we make it less inviting tomorrow.

A strategic campaign, not a skirmish.

We implement a multi-layered defence designed for lasting results.

Inspection

Investigation + source hunt

  • Breeding Site Audit: We identify and inspect potential breeding grounds - overflowing bins, organic debris, moist compost, and drains.
  • Species Identification: Determining if you have house flies, fruit flies, or drain flies dictates the precise treatment strategy.
  • Entry Point & Attractant Assessment: We note points of entry and conditions (like odours or uncovered food) that attract flies indoors.

Outcome: A clear map of the why and where behind your fly problem.

Treatment

Targeted action plan

  • Source Elimination/Management: We provide clear guidance (and can assist with) removing or managing breeding sites. For drain flies, this may involve specific bio-treatments.
  • Strategic Trap Placement: We install and maintain professional-grade, discreet fly light traps or bait stations in strategic locations to intercept and reduce the adult population.
  • Targeted Residual Treatments: In cases of severe infestation, we may apply targeted, odourless insecticides to resting surfaces (e.g., upper walls, ceilings) in non-food areas.

Outcome: A rapid reduction in adult flies and the elimination of future generations.

Protection

Exclusion + advice

  • Physical Barrier Recommendations: Advice on fitting and maintaining fly screens on doors and windows.
  • Waste Management Best Practices: Simple, effective strategies for bin management to prevent creating future breeding sites.

Outcome: A comprehensive, long-term strategy for a fly-managed environment.

Questions?

Answers to common concerns about protecting your home from pests.

A small fruit fly problem often points to a single, localised breeding source (like a fermenting piece of fruit in a bin or a dirty drain). We can quickly identify and eliminate that source, preventing a small issue from becoming a major infestation. Sometimes, a single visit with the right advice is all you need.

Absolutely. The fly light traps we use are non-toxic, employing UV light and discreet glue boards or catching mechanisms. Any insecticides used are applied with precision in areas of minimal human contact and are approved for use in sensitive environments. We prioritise non-chemical solutions first.

Drain flies (also called moth flies) breed in the biofilm inside drains. A simple pour of chemical cleaner won't solve it. We use specific enzyme or bacterial drain treatments that break down the organic film they feed on, eliminating the breeding source at its origin.

You should notice a significant reduction in adult flies within 24-48 hours of implementing breeding source control and trap placement. Breaking the breeding cycle ensures the problem doesn't bounce back in a week.

This is a specialty. We provide discreet, compliant, and highly effective fly management solutions for the hospitality sector. Our methods are designed to control pests without disrupting your operation or customer experience, focusing on exterior perimeter control and strategic interior trapping.
